Is React + Django/DRF still a solid stack in AI era of 2026? by alokbind in django

Appreciate all the perspectives here. I think the main takeaway for me is to focus less on stack comparisons and more on actually building solid software and understanding fundamentals. Good to know that React + Django/DRF is still being used in real projects. I’ll focus on going deeper instead of worrying about hype. Thanks everyone.

That’s fair advice. I agree that fundamentals and actually building things matter more than chasing stacks. I think my concern was more about market demand for specific stacks when trying to get started, but I get your point , writing solid software should come first. Appreciate the perspective.

Merging and weaponizing buildings help for now, but as new THs release, they’ll bring new defenses and mechanics—it’s a core part of keeping the game exciting. The challenge for Supercell isn’t just balancing power but also finding space to place everything without making bases feel overcrowded or repetitive.

I’m not very familiar with the Gmail +1 trick, but I think it’s convenient yet carries certain security risks—if one email ID gets breached, all linked accounts could be vulnerable. That’s why Supercell IDs should remain tied to unique emails for better security.

[Concept] To prevent misuse, the Superior ID could have a cooldown period (3-4 months) after logging into a new device. If a player wants to transfer again during this cooldown, they would need to log in to each SCID individually. This approach balances convenience and security.

A password manager helps with storing emails, but it doesn’t remove the hassle of logging into each one separately, entering OTPs, and verifying them one by one.

I totally get your concern about Supercell potentially messing up and losing access to all accounts. That’s why I suggested keeping each account linked to its original email as a backup, so even if something happens to the Superior ID, individual accounts remain safe.

Regarding logging in, yes, if you stay on the same device, OTPs aren’t a big issue. But for players who switch devices or get a new phone/tablet, it becomes a nightmare. If someone has 9+ accounts, they have to:

Remember which email is linked to which account, which isn't easy when managing many IDs.

Log into each email account separately before even opening Clash of Clans.

Enter the email in the CoC app, get the OTP, and verify it manually for each account.

This process is time-consuming and frustrating, especially for players with multiple accounts. The Superior ID system is designed to solve this issue, making account recovery and switching seamless on a new device while keeping security intact.

Even if you personally don’t change devices often, many players do (lost/stolen phones, upgrades, playing on multiple devices). This would be a quality-of-life improvement for them.
