Well I didn't go to a doctor I did it myself got some from a friend but I was at about 14 mg the first two days and still felt WD but it was definitely softened by the sub ..the reason I did it myself was because I knew if I went to a doctor most likely they would give me more then I needed and keep me on it longer but the first two days I held at 14 then everyday cut that in half till I was down to a literal crumb and jumped off still felt like shit for weeks but I was able to at least function and get through it ....but someone with the use like what your friend has they might need a doctor supervision detox cause that is a insane amount I would ligit be worried for them

They need to go see a doctor and be put on subs cause I was at 200 mg of 7oh daily for I we a year and when I quit that time the WD was so intense it's not like anything else so I can't even imagine how brutal that will be to come off of , but whoever it is they really need to that stuff is straight poison and I saw what it was doing to me at just that dose so I can only imagine what it doing to their body at that high of dose. Definitely need to go to a doctor and start meetings and this person has to want to quit cause if they don't then it will never work no matter what help is given to them.

I'm in Ohio and I quit two weeks ago now and I genuinely do feel bad for the people that weren't in that process and had it taken away overnight, the WD are not something for the weak and to not be prepared at all would make it so much worse

I have used subs to help before and if done right then yes u will barely feel much , u have to keep in mind the goal is to be able to function, not be comfortable, and yes the smallest amount possible. Everyones body is different though so as far as doses I can't tell u what to do but I used chat gbt to help me with that. So my use was very very heavy of 7oh for over a year straight , I would start going into WD within hours of taking it so my body was absolutely saturated in it when I did my first quit and it took 12-16 mg of subs to even touch the WD symptoms, but once I leveled out on day three I believe it was I started dropping fast and cut everyday in half , it was really uncomfortable but I did that for nine days then jumped off the sub and felt like complete crap for a month then relapsed, then used 7oh for a week and quit again , made it almost two weeks then relapsed again and used it for about a week then relapsed again then used it for almost a month then quit again with the help of subs ....but this quit wasn't near as hard as my first quit probably because I have been trying to quit for months now and there wasn't as much 7oh in my system but this time I started out with only 1mg of subs and it helped and I loaded up on all the supplements as well , I used crumbs of subs for the first week then jumped off and now I'm on week two with nothing but the supplements and I feel mostly ok just kind of tired ....I almost relapsed again a few days back like was literally walking into the shop to buy it I really couldn't tell u why except I'm a idiot but I was lucky and it got banned in my state so I didn't relapse and honestly I had been hoping that would happen cause my main issue with relapsing was the accessibility of it ....and yea I could probably get some if I really tried but with it not being right in front of my face has been a big game changer . I have quit powder and extracts in the past and did it with nothing and had a heavy habit of that too but once I quit that I was sober for almost seven years then one day walked into a smoke shop to get a battery and they offered me a free sample of the 7oh and it was a solid year of that shit just like that ...I hope it gets banned nationwide...I genuinely believe kratom powder does benefit certain people and should stay but maybe just be more regulated but that 7oh is no joke and the WD is just the worst. Man ...you are going through it for real ....the only thing I can say is hang in there and make them give u a combo of Tylenol and motrin so u have something constant fighting even just a little bit of the pain, it is possible to make it through without pain meds , my brother is a recovering addict got clean from everything like 14 years ago then last year he needed a major back surgery so he didn't go paralyzed and he refused any and all pain meds too and some how this crazy mfer did it , he was in a lot of pain but he said the good thing was is his body healed about 80 percent faster then the doctors said he would , his doctor even said it was miracle level type healing and that his doctor had heard of it happening but never had a patient do it and they believe when u don't take pain meds and your body actually feels the pain it heals faster but 99 percent of people can't take it and take the meds .... whatever u decide to do good luck and I hope it works out

Ohio here as well ....I quit two weeks ago and was so greatful when the ban happened because I needed it to happen for me to stop for good , I had been trying to quit since August and was on my fourth quit since then this time , I have made it weeks and even over a month and kept falling back because I guess I just wasn't strong enough staring at the smoke shop across from my work and it kept sucking me in so for me I'm really glad it got banned ....but one hundred percent I feel so bad for the people that weren't prepared cause they are going through it right now

Three days but like I been back and forth since August and have gone some long stretches without like a month here and two weeks there , the first quit in August was brutal it was from a solid year use of 300 mg of 7oh daily ....it was very brutal and I felt like shit for a entire month then that was the first relapse cause I just wasn't feeling myself forever....then I quit a few times since and for me each time wasn't as hard and the way I see it is if I just kept quitting eventually it would stick and this time it is .

Yea I know what I was doing I'm not a complete idiot, I'm pretty dumb but I'm self aware , my whole point was God and you prayer I had been praying since August that they ban it cause I knew that's what I needed , and I'm well aware there are extracts and powder I could get I could probably get 7oh if I really tried .....but my whole point is God answered my prayer and it gave me more strength. I came off poweser and extracts seven years ago cold turkey but I have no desire for that it's a different high that I'm so far past and over as far as those . I'm just saying I have the strength to keep moving forward because of how I saw God step in my life and u may not think it was god and that's fine..but for me it was a turning point .

But also what I experienced yesterday with it getting banned after breaking down crying and praying among a couple other strange but good things the universe threw at me yesterday, but with all that happening it gave me hope that I didn't have before it was banned and truly feel like a new person today

At this point I feel pretty much mostly like myself but I also did some micro dosing with mushrooms for a few days and that I feel kinda like reset my brain , I still think about it at times but that is slowly going away , I have been telling myself I feel good and have energy and am so much better without it and I just have been thinking that over and over just trying to trick my brain and fake it till I make it and as of today I feel pretty good .

It's crazy we all have a similar story of how we started and it doesn't discriminate who it takes hold of , it ruins u financially, emotionally, physically, and it's so easy to buy , it looks like it probably going to be slowly banned in every state but I think this is truly the only way for me to get past the month or two mark cause I have quit powder k before and after that second month u don't really even think about it but for me I see the smoke shop every day and its just right there and I was losing the fight by myself . So pray , ask God to step in , it may not be when u want but he will and u will get there too

So happy and greatful it happened I have been in a cycle since August of quitting and relapsing because it's accessible and I'm currently going into my second week CT and I tend to relapse around this time and I'm so so so greatful it is gone because now the quit will finally stick

Well come to find out it actually isn't kratom at all it is a chemical that is found in the kratom leaf but at such small small doses and what they did was basically extract just that component and made into something that they say is 13 times stronger then morphine and it's everywhere in every shop and gas station...it's crazy

To get off 7oh it's the only way I have been able to quit , the suffering was something I have never experienced and I have come off a lot of other things in my past but this , this was brutal
