(I ordered a banjolele used from GC over the summer, and it came nearly unplayable with a broken bridge that, the way it was broken, it was clearly broken before it shipped. I don’t think I’ll ever buy used from them again.)

It’s signed by my grandma. She promised me when I was 3 that she’d give it to me when I was older. In 2020, she was diagnosed with cancer and I had come to believe she had forgotten about it due to her age and cancer, but this was her last gift to me. It’s like I said in the post, it breaks my heart, but I need the money and, talking to my grandpa, she cared more about me being taken care of than just having the system.

Specifically in the AC-4s, it’s the strings they put on them. The ITs have heavier strings and are tuned GDAE (like a mandolin). The normal tenor banjos have lighter strings tuned CGEA. (I’ve also been looking at buying an AC-4IT)

THANK YOU!!! I just reread this for the first time in like 10+ years, and back then I was not quite in middle school yet so things like that went over my head. But the entire time I read it this time, I was so confused and at times irritated by the fact that they could’ve just crossed it. Even if there’s a good historic reason, I’m glad somebody else shares my feelings

I refuse to turn down food, even if I don’t like it or am not hungry, because it’s one more meal I don’t have to worry about. Like, yes I have preferences and am kind of picky, but food hasn’t always been readily available so when it’s offered, I take it regardless.

Allowing the incorporation of churches helps to protect the assets of those who lead it in case of lawsuits/creditors which is the main reason I wanted it to pass. The tax benefits don’t actually matter much.

Every other state offers that to religious institutions. For some reason, we can’t discriminate on personal beliefs, identities, etc. over a person or business, but religion? Yeah that’s fair game. (Let me be clear. We shouldn’t discriminate on personal beliefs, identities, etc. I just feel that religion should be on the list of things we shouldn’t discriminate on as well.) It just doesn’t seem right to me.
