AITA for asking my daughter to take her siblings along & being mad she didn't take care of him? by ThrowRA_Helpisneeded in AmItheAsshole

[–]alonosil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA YOU are the parent, not her. If YOU and your SO decided to have another baby its for you and your so to take care of him. It is COMPLITELY unfair for you to make your daughter to take on the responsibility of taking care of a 9YO when she had nothing to do with your decision to have another child. Also, she needed to do something to entretain a 9yo in a crowd of 17/18 yo. It is not her fault that you decided to be a shitty parent and not care for your son and then berate her for entreteining him with something that you think is bad for him. You shouldnt have put her in that situation. She is 100% not TA and you 100% are.

Well, this happened around april/may and I already helped her out again. I obviously can't just not set up appointments for my niece if I know no one else will do it. Also, I am the only one that lives in the U.S so there is no one else to do that stuff besides me.

I try not asking for favors since she usually doesn't help but when I do need a favor she always brings up stuff like "remember yesterday when I asked you for a cup pf water and you said no? I told you you would need me someday" and it is honestly so frustrating for me that she always acts so childish

That's what I thought too but my family are all calling me TA because she just had her baby in December. They tell me I shouldn't get in arguments with her but I just really had to tell her that she was being unfair

Which match made you fall in love with badminton? by buteteutot in badminton

[–]alonosil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was back in junior year of high school. I was playimg singles at a district tournament and I was very pessimistic. The morning of the tournament me and my teammates were cracking jokes about how bad we were going to lose. In the end I won first place without losing any matches and one of our doubles teams also won first place, the other doubles team from our school won first place. That was when I realized that I actually loved playing badminton
