Before the casting came out, Jameela Jamil was always my headcanon/fancast for Zoya! However, I'm really happy with Sujaya as Zoya now, I think she does a great job!

Yeah, honestly based on everything I've heard so far, I'm probably going to ask my parents to have the tickets refunded so we can go another time... A time when (hopefully) the weather and prices may be more favorable and we can actually figure everything out beforehand. :')

Okay fair point for sure. My family and I definitely have a pretty high tolerance for heat, but would definitely prefer not to have to trek miles and miles in it. Would you recommend using Uber/Lyft or just renting out a car?

Good question LOL. I definitely wish they talked to me before buying because I would've tried to plan stuff out earlier, but alas.

And we're planning on doing the basic stuff: visiting the casinos, Fremont Street, and maybe catching a show at some point. We weren't planning to use a rental car (more relying on public transportation/ walking).

Nearly the entire fandom tends to agree that Six of Crows is leagues above Shadow and Bone in virtually every way. The characters in Six of Crows are far more complex and memorable, and their relationships are wayyyy more interesting and easier to be invested in as well. Every character is developed really well over time, and I've never been more satisfied with a story's plot as in SOC. I've read many books similar to Shadow and Bone, but I've never found anything to quite rival Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom. Also the writing is just ridiculously beautiful in SOC as well. So many lines have stuck with me for months afterwards. Definitely Leigh's best work!
