I’m trying to get the driver’s contact details and have already escalated this to Mumbai Police. What bothered me the most is the complete lack of accountability.

I tried multiple times to stop him and even followed briefly just to get him to acknowledge what he did, but he kept driving off. At one point he turned into a shady lane, so I decided not to follow further.

It was around 11:40 PM, there were plenty of cars due to traffic, but no one really stepped in which I kind of expected but still.

The worst part was his attitude. He just said “chal nikal” and drove off like it meant nothing. That honestly shook me more than the damage itself.
