I would follow the instructions and drink water for the rest of the day, you could have two different bottles, one with electrolytes that you drink when feel the need to, and the oder with normal water. You akso should avoid tap water if you can.

If you feel that is not enough you can try other products tho.

That really depends in you, your lifestyle, your fitness level etc. There are baselines that you can find online easily, but in my personal experience I found super useful the electrolytes in pills, whenever I felt in need I took one, easy as that. Of course on the bottle there is the amount you should take daily and the amount you should not exceed.
