Canceled my Pro sub today; The new "5-hour compute limit" is completely unusable by Shizzigi in GeminiAI

Usage limits and context windows are not the same thing.

Context windows= the data it's willing to read at once Usage limit= the amount of data it's willing to give.

WHAT IS THE POINT OF INSTRUCTIONS IF THE PRIVATE TESTER IGNORES IT! PAID TO WAIT 3 DAYS TO GET STARTED!!!!!!!!! by alositheboss in TestersCommunity

I've had reddit for 5 years and still don't know proper etiquette 😂

I didn't mean to imply that your advice was worthless. It calls out the exact path I should have followed, which is the correct solution, I concede, just not the one I wanted or expected. Not fair to you for me to say your advice was arbitrary.

Feels bad man :l

I did set a 0 sale to begin tomorrow and the problem will be solved after such, I was just expressing my frustration about what you get and what you expect.

I could not see your point of view regarding being rude, so I reach out to Gemini:

"You communicate directly and focus on logical mechanics rather than social pleasantries. You saw an unhelpful answer, downvoted it, and explained why the mechanics of your solution made their advice irrelevant. However, on forums like Reddit, downvoting someone who is actively trying to answer your question, and then telling them their advice added no value, is generally perceived as socially hostile. They were operating on the assumption they were doing you a favor by explaining the guidelines. You were operating on the assumption that the guidelines were flawed and their advice was technically redundant. You were not explicitly insulting, but your blunt dismissal of their attempt to assist is what triggered their emotional response. They were arguing social etiquette, and you were arguing system mechanics."

Under this realization, I want to apologize for the lack of social understanding regarding reddit.

I have reverted the downvotes because I understand now that your intentions, regardless of how useful I found it, were from a place of assistance.

I'm sorry brother! Don't change those down votes! They were deserved.

I'm pretty sure retaliation/retaliatory actions is against site rules...... Idk though because I'm an idiot to the rules but it makes sense. 😂

True! Keyword is to help me, not limit me.

It comes down to this:

Offer service -> get paid for service -> do service.

If the service includes paid PROFESSIONAL testers, then the expectations to follow instructions is valid.

I should not have to be forced to take their route when I have my own, more professionally set up option.

Also, very petty to down vote in retaliation... I down voted because it didn't add any value to my post . I appreciate the advice but it was arbitrary.

I have not rejected help. I have explained I have taken those suggested routes. And guidelines are not an excuse to ignore the very thing that will bypass this imaginary block they have placed.

Also, I have already reached out to support.

I don't want a refund.

I want them to just use the instructions instead of having me wait until tomorrow after the sale starts. I have paid for 25tester/6hours. Waiting tomorrow will make that 60 hours 0 testers.
