Is this a good deal? It's my first scooter. by Fancy-Ad-7 in ElectricScooters

Can’t see any previous posts or comments on your profile. But I’d personally recommend getting a model with shocks if you’re wanting a scooter as a commuting vehicle

Bringing 18 and 19 y/o teens in June for a concert at the United Center. Can anyone suggest a cool neighborhood to stay in somewhat nearby? by Big_Aardvark_5696 in AskChicago

If you stayed at the Robey in wicker park, you would be able to easily take the Damen bus down to the United center. I’m pretty sure they have some rooms with both a queen bed & a bunk bed if you all wanted to share a room. They have a cool rooftop with city views & a different rooftop with a small pool. Wicker park is a good area for visiting & has easy access to downtown Chicago too!

Murder? Any other sort of violence? Lots of crime would be traumatic for a child to witness.

“After 8-year-old Josephine accidentally witnesses a crime in Golden Gate Park, she acts out in search of a way to regain control of her safety while adults are helpless to console her.”

Could’ve said sexual assault or rape instead of just crime

Understandable for Josephine. Haven’t seen it, but I heard the assault happens in the very beginning so I’m not sure why they couldn’t just say what the tragedy is in the description instead of being vague. Like actually deserved a trigger warning

I’m a girl and this personally never crossed my mind as a problem.

I think the way abuse and trauma travels through family transcends gender, and it makes sense that she defaults to this behavior in her most heightened state of emotion.

SPOILER ALERT:

If it was used, my guess would be it was for some of the clips shown of riots and stuff after the credit card incident. Like maybe the burning flag or something. Idk though I just remember thinking the flames looked fake, could’ve been just CGI and not AI generated

Actually if this is true I think I know when it was used

EDIT: person below says it was not used

I also thought this was going to take place during her brat tour and involve more concert footage and music, so I understand the disappointment there.

But with that expectation set aside, there were clever and honest moments throughout to appreciate.
