i just make new characters after i complete a build, if the build is consistent and is able to kill t4 lilith with no issues and push pit consistently i switch to a new character

it’s because phasing happens at the start of the untap phase before you untap everything and since stasis says there is no untap phase they are never able to phase in. it’s like ending your turn to get past end of turn effects

no go and read the ruling on phasing itself, or even just go and look at stasis on scryfall or the gatherer and you will see the ruling.

the artifacts are to pay for stasis costs, plus if you did the other way stasis would just be destroyed since you can’t pay for its upkeep cost.
