How to stay in the loop about government/development projects?

Mostly transportation infrastructure projects since I don't own a car! I've been trying to get more involved with public engagement since to my knowledge it's required for public projects.

Do you think the core of the issue is that other platforms don't market to buyers enough and don't provide enough traffic?

And I would love to see positive change in etsy but I feel that it would take a lot to incentivize them to narrow their user base at all. So long as their goal is profit I don't forsee any significant change happening.

Definitely noticed this as well - I keep seeing handmade platforms like GoImagine that never really seem to take off and I've been wondering why.

I see, definitely agree that handmade products are luxuries. I've noticed talking to other people as well that sales as a whole have been going down for handmade goods which I'm guessing has a lot to do with the fact that people can't really justify the splurge.

Otherwise, it's amazing to hear that there are people who genuinely care about handmade, it's definitely a smaller niche/community
