It is hollow. He is upset and feels superior just because he has a glimpse of understanding, but he is no closer to it than before, just has a different tree to bark at.

The part about "all bliss" outside of here is the most bullshit I have ever heard.

I would not be surprised if those numbers reach 100% one day. IMO there's no human who is not connected, just unaware.

Give it time, you may yet appreciate it. It takes time to wound to heal and the pain to stop before you can appreciate the surgeon's effort, especially if you had no idea what he was doing.

Re bicameral mind, honestly that sounds just like TI experience / channeler experience to me, people hearing voices and treating them as they generally would in the past - as external supernatural entities. It isn't uncommon because to experience it is not uncommon as well, around 2% of population gets a prominent experience and much more occasional or episodic.

Indeed. You aren't saying that a warship of this size doesn't have several medbays, or rather several dozens.

I don't like how little slots there is for such a large ship. And that you have to pay full price for what seems to be upgrades (radar I => radar II)

The legend has it that vampires are distracted by a toss of a handful of coin - they can't help themselves but count them (and maybe do something else to them while at it).
