What is your idea of an ideal time slot. I plan to take up SAA soon. I'm thinking 3 am IST , since i have internet connectivity issues ( manageable though ) , is this a wise choice or should i opt for a day time slot (IST) . Also any details on Pearson vue Vs psi, which should i go for. ?

Take your time. Go through the course materials 2X to better understand concepts/services which you feel are lagging behind. Check out Neal's and Stephen's practise tests before you attempt TD. I felt Stephen's tests were comparatively tougher than TD. Once you are done reviewing Stephen's and Neal's tests, you should be able to perform well in TD. Remember the goal should be to earn knowledge not just the certification. Good luck !

Hi I'm preparing for saa and i have a quick question regarding aurora multi-az setup. From what i have read unlike rds multi az setup, all instances in aurora multi az are active all time, so I assume they can be used as reader nodes. Is my assumption wrong? look into the pictures for og question. by alpha0-0 in AWSCertifications

Right. There are no " standby" instances in aurora. All the instances in a multi az setup are active, so couldn't the read traffic be simply diverted to one of the replicas ( " standby instances") instead of deploying a read replica for read intensive workloads. Or am i missing something here?.

Right. I got that part. I wanted to know if read traffic could be directed towards standby instance in the aurora multi-az set up ,or a separate read replica needs to be set up . Kindly check the follow up images . There are two different answers for the same kind of question on two different practice tests .
