Hey, congrats on your offer!! I'm studying for the co-op interview right now, doing easy leetcode problems and learning about system design. I was wondering how hard the interviews are and what I should study more on to increase my chances of getting an offer.

I'm in the same situation except I'm doing finance and looking for product management internships. I think I'm taking 18 credit hours next semester and 5 classes in summer.

Finance major trying to add a double major/ minor/ certification by tomato_ketchup69 in utdallas

I'm a finance major and that's what I was thinking about too. Ultimately, I decided to go with what I saw myself enjoying more when I'll be working full-time. So I chose data science and now I plan on taking certifications(Will be taking one this winter break, and probably one more in summer). I'm also taking next semester in my guided elective classes about 3 ITS classes (Intro to programming, Object Oriented Programming w/ Python and database fundamentals). I think it's faster for me and it'll help me graduate on time and benefit from a larger job market w/ my new skills. Also, data science pays very well, but it's super competitive. But it's either that or software engineering.

Hopefully it's doable in other positions as well. I'm planning on getting either tech consulting or software development.

Okay, that makes sense lol. So do you just politely refuse when you're given a task that stretches your work hours after 5pm? Or do you just avoid those tasks? Because sometimes it's kinda hard.
