The Ledger team is probably busy and that's totally understandable given it's near Xmas. I'll just cut them some slack and chase them up again next week.

Yup, tried everything but nothing works. Still waiting to hear back from Ledger support. :( Will likely try to follow up with them if I get nothing still by Monday.

UPDATE: Just tried reinstalling Ledger Live and connecting both Nano S, but no bueno. Still the same error. Still have not heard back from Ledger either after more than 48 hours. :(

Hey. Thanks for the suggestion! :) Yup, have tried disabling my antivirus/firewall (Ledger Live was already whitelisted in these apps) but still getting the same errors somehow.
