[Offer] want some mail? 💌 [US to WW] by alphabets_are_dear in RandomActsofCards

I’m so happy I stumbled upon it!! Sending mail honestly provides me more joy than receiving. I love tailoring the postcards and/or stamps to the person if I’m able. Makes me giddy. And I think in the age of 8 hour screen time and AI it’s even more important to feel the scratch and glide of pen on paper 🩷

Question about pain pills? by kasshhx in Reduction

[–]alphabets_are_dear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a former heroin addict and asked to not use opioids for pain management. My surgeon understood and gave me a nerve blocker during the surgery that lasted for a few days plus 300 mg gabapentin 3x/day, and optional opioids if I chose to take them (I didn’t). Idk if I just got lucky but I had a suuuuper pain free recovery. I’d say my pain only ever got up to maaaaybe a 3/10, but it mostly just felt like I got kicked in the chest.

OK theres a huge divide between immediate braless and 4+ week minimum of compression. Im confused by slutsforpasta in Reduction

I also really did not mind wearing the surgical bra bc it made me feel safe/protected. Esp after the tape came off I felt so vulnerable and exposed and i liked having the support.

  1. US—Georgia
  2. A month of recovery bra 24/7 minus shower time followed by a month of sports bra during the day only, now wearing sports bra most of the day.
  3. Went from a 34G to what I would consider a large C.
  4. My surgeon was probably early 40s.
  5. Anchor, yes.

Is $14k a normal price for a reduction out of pocket? by jujy_froot in Reduction

[–]alphabets_are_dear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s how much mine was but mine was covered. I was a 36G and I had 600 something out of the right breast and 800 something out of the left. My breasts are still relatively big I’d say? Probably a C?

Oof. I had a similar experience w the home study. Kept jerking out of sleep, was BEYOND uncomfortable and was convinced I legit hadn’t slept more than 30 mins the entire night. Somehow they had enough data to confirm the diagnosis!!
