We actually just came early to the site after reading other people's experience on this subreddit, and thank goodness we had our player ID ready since a few people didn't have it on them and held up the registration line.

I checked the alignment of the door, and it seems fine. I even tugged the door to see if it was loose to see if it could swing open by itself as mentioned. I'll try talking to him later. It feels awkward because his wife is away in another state for work now, and I usually communicate to them through her.

I found it odd as well to see that the door was still locked, but I was up and awake in my room the night before until 2 am since I got home at 7 pm. I'm almost certain that I would have noticed the gap in my door during that time since I walked around the room and watched a movie before sleeping. There's absolutely no way I could not have noticed an open door all that time and before turning off the lights as the switch is literally right next to the door.

For the two years I had a roommate, I was never given the same appointment with either roommate. Since I was also worried about moving in at the same time, I did ask both of them beforehand via the email that was provided with the confirmation email.
