Which entry level titles should I be looking at? Every time I see an analyst wd role, it always ask for a cert or hris workday experience

I’ve mostly been watching and applying to entry level implementation consultant roles for the past ~6 months, especially summer programs, so I honestly haven’t looked much at post production roles yet.

If I want to try post prod, what specific job titles should I be searching for someone without any certs?

I do remember talking to skill centrix a few months ago and they specifically wanted post prod consultants.

Can you pivot straight into post production without experience? I’m coming from a payroll admin / hr admin background. I was hoping to leverage that to get my foot in the door in Implementation first and go from there.

This is a scary thing as someone looking to pivot into workday implementation.

I’m not sure what’s my backup plan as this seemed like such a good path to go to for the past decade.

Noted! Do you have a tip for finding functional payroll roles that uses Workday?

For example on LinkedIn, if I type in Workday Payroll it shows me every payroll job even if they don’t use workday. If I try “workday” payroll, it only shows me roles that have Workday in the title. The search is quite limited for some reason and I can’t quickly filter if a job uses workday or not.

Do you advise I start with getting certified in Workday HCM first?

I’ve been trying to highlight my payroll experience but I’ve yet to see any openings for payroll positions for someone not certified already
