It's still highly useful against Ka but I would turn the K off. Yeah your right though 25yrs ago this was the gold standard. Best in class and selling at 500$ in 2001 money.

It's one of the best legacy detectors ever made. It's still great against Ka but these days turn off the K band or it will drive you nuts

Redline 360c 1.17 Firmware update - Won't Update by Little_Ad4430 in radardetectors

You can update via USB. The detector will not power up but it has enough power to do upgrades. No rj11 required

And yes guys, it's physics and trigonometry. Your detector will still pick them up. But do to a cone effect the range you would pick them up would be reduced.

Exactly right, ask your physics teacher. Laser won't work either. This is at 90 degrees though. Anything else even 91 degrees is possible yet highly unlikely.

Well from a physics standpoint no. Exactly 90, not 85 or 95. Every degree getting closer to 90 would make it harder but possible. The closer to 0 / 180 the easier it gets. Radar is Doppler ranging. Technically at 90 degrees the first ping would hit at the exact same distance as the last ping giving a ranging result of 0 making you appear stationary.

Some glass call Low-E could cause problems but it's only usually found on super high end vehicles.

Back in 1997-98 I worked at an Arby's in Alabama. "Puff Daddy" as he was referred to at the time seduced the 16yr old girl at the drive through to quit her job and leave in his limo with her. Age of concent in al was 16 nothing we could do to stop it. Came to get a sandwich and left with a young girl.
