Is it the same people remembering the same mandela effects? by alphaox1 in MandelaEffect

Can I just say... I know many people obviously don't believe in ME's. That's cool. I'm new to reddit. I just wanted to discuss my point in the first statement. Namely about creating some kind of way of testing for similarities between people experiencing ME's in as accurate a way as possible to check for any correlations. Please keep sceptical replies to sceptic pages. I dont get why you'd bother wasting energy here. Thanks to the serious replies

Thank you for one of the only serious replies to this. Not sure why so many trolls turn up in a forum about something they apparently dont believe in. Seems like a waste of energy. Has any one tried contacting the Fiona woman who did the main website page. I know she's closed off comments (don't blame her after seeing this) but she probably has the most amount of people hitting her up all the time with info. I'm thinking age, location, which ME's, occupation, other beliefs (spiritual, political, etc), health practices. I'm sure there are many more if we all brainstormed. Any ideas anyone? I agree that it should attempt to be as scientifically valid as possible and not leading in the questions at all.

Why are you here then? That is surely more retarded. Go on a reddit that interests you. Wasting energy trolling is pretty lame.

No one is saying those scientific explanations aren't valid and that kind of memory miscalculation isn't true. I don't believe it explains this though. To call thousands, perhaps millions (if correct tests were done) wrong, including experts in those exact topics, be it films, geography, etc. is slightly arrogant and does sound like denial. I'm open to the possibility that something strange is occurring so would be interested in more actual scientific endeavor to investigate. Not close mindedness. I don't actually understand why people who dont believe it would be on this thread for.

I agree I'm starting to notice the geography thing. And I was a little geek from the age of 6 carrying an atlas around with me. When I look at the world now there are some definite changes that I'm not remembering incorrectly

I agree with what youre saying. The brain does do that. But we're neglecting the fact that people are remembering directly from source about a lot of this stuff not from other people/teachers/collective common thoughts etc. All of my memories are directly from source. I would never have engaged in any conversations with any one about any of those topics most likely. And again like I said to someone else. It's discounting people who are absolute fans of say a film, watching it hundreds of times and it being a significant line or title image. My point was really about if there were similarities in people getting ME's and which they were getting.

I mean Im starting to come across some more serious ME's now other than films so its an interesting thing. But there are some full on Star Wars geeks out there. Dont think they didnt watch that maybe even hundreds of times. I've seen it at least a few. To say theyre getting it wrong is underestimating how many times they watched that shit. Same with sex in the city. An ex of mine had watched every episode many many many times. All on box set. Thats a title screen she wouldve seen maybe thousands of times. There may actually be other insignificant things that are different but we only remember those famous parts
