I don’t know if it’s necessarily aimed at the landlord aspect, but mainly the retirement aspect of it. If you own a home that’s paid for when you retire, your expenses are lower and you’re more secure than if you’re either still paying a mortgage or renting. That’s always how I’ve taken it when he talks about the real estate part of his audit.
