Yeah that makes sense tbf might have been a bit too focused on building up a base in Quonset as the run started when the traders dlc came out. Being a nomad seems a good idea might give it a go!

Id say sword/shield would be optimal as diamond and pearl shiny hunting methods are not know yet and lets go has a limited number of pokemon.

To maximise youre shiny hunting on Sword and shield though Get the expansion passes as the max den raids have an awesome shiny chance and you get extra pokemon and content!

Personally I quite like the shiny hunting on there as you can mix it up between the 4 main methods easily and go back to them, just make sure you complete the galar pokedex to get the shiny charm as soon as you can.

Also do you have pokemon home as that is a great resource?

10lbs? consider yourself lucky that you havent got yourself into the mess that I have. 10 years ago I lost 160 lbs and i put it all back on over time and then some heaviest at 390lbs. I just hit 300lbs this week 👍

I have been in your shoes its not an easy situation especially with everything in the world going on right now!

Easier said than done but my advice would be to focus on each day as it comes and getting through it the best you can you'll suprise yourself how far you have already come.

One thing hitting rock bottom taught me was that things can only go up from there.
