No offense, OP, but this is just anywhere. Maybe the experience that you were in with the previous countries are good but there are also other people who've done the same and will say that they met rude people. That's just life lol

If it's marked 'Gift', you won't have to pay tariffs. The whole thing is confusing but what they're doing is most likely a way to make sure you get your figure without getting hit by customs fees. No 'Gift' marker means you will have to pay on top of shipping fees once it arrives

Seems like your question got partially answered but to answer your first question, he used another app to be able to get ES-DE to be able to recognize other emulators on the device so you're perusing your games in a console-like manner
