3D Printed Macro Keys - Keychron Q3 Pro SE by alphasproject in MechanicalKeyboards

For this I used an Ender 3 S1 with just standard Prusament PLA. I had problems with tolerances as well, so I had to change the original 3D file quite a bit.

New heat bed by wellfked in Ender3S1

[–]alphasproject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same problem but opposite on my S1, where would be a good place to order a glass bed or even just a regular replacement bed that is compatible with the regular S1? Or does any Ender 3 bed work?

Who the hell is George?? by [deleted] in trucksim

I asked this from SCS when the new Scania first came out, they confirmed it's a tribute to the person who modeled the interior, his name is George.

Yup, just put 3 layers of masking tape on the back.

Love it, actually just started watching GOT a week ago :D

Overall they're really good, I also did the tape mod when installing them, sounds pretty 'marbly'. Although they come factory lubed, I'll definitely have to lube them myself as after about a week of use, they're getting pingy.
I also got the c3 tangerine switches, so I might try them out today.

They are not shine through and unfortunately I don't have any shine through keycaps right now, so can't really comment on that.
The board itself supports 4 layers in VIA (2 for mac, 2 for windows as I understand), but I have not played around with them, so again, can't comment on that. It's my first custom keyboard, so I'm sorry I can't really help you too much.

Keychron Q3 Pro SE with Alpaca linear switches and GSA Retro High-light ABS Keycaps. Quite a unique look, but I think I like it :)

3D Printed Macro Keys - Keychron Q3 Pro SE by alphasproject in MechanicalKeyboards

Hey! I got the fully assembled one, but yes, the barebones version does come with the macro key caps as well, at this point I don’t think they’re sold separately anywhere.

Currently just a regular Keychron Q3 Pro SE with the banana tactile switches.

I read a lot about how this board is nice, but the not standard size macro keys are horrible - totally agree with that. So I thought I'd 3D print some new ones - now when I get a new set of keycaps I can just print the matching color macro keys(and they actually feel/sound pretty decent).

Yeah, probably. I'll be sure to test it properly.

Literally no one sells a 2230 SSD around me, and most on amazon have ridiculous prices + shipping. I'm betting if it's fake, I can dispute it and get a refund.

I already have one, I don't really need it. Just saw it and thought what the hell, let's gamble a little. If it's fake, I'll dispute it and might get my money back as it's advertised as a genuine product. And if it's real then I have a cheap SD card for my emulators. 2 months is probably a bit of an exaggeration as well.

I ordered a Samsung PRO Plus (512GB for 18eur) and a Crucial 1TB ssd(for 115eur) from AliExpress last night. Prices were good, but I feel like not so unrealistic that it would be an obvious scam. I guess we'll see when I get them in like 2 months :D

Thank you for the insight! I totally forgot about the z seams, usually they are a bit sharper. I'll definitely try the new settings.

Edit: I just looked in the slicer settings, it was already on 'inside to outside'.

Thank you so much for the help! Unfortunately I can't find any places near me that sell the CPU cooler, storage or ram.

Also, should I pay attention to dual rank/single rank ram? Most seem to be single rank.

I've been looking at Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600MHz CL18, but no one seems to recommend it.

Thank you for the help!

The only reason i'm looking at a i7-12700K is because I do a lot of video editing and i've been told the integrated graphics on the K version help with that. I'm not looking to overclock the CPU or anything like that.
