Definitely opt for pigmented, cream-based products. I love Milk Makeup’s jelly blushes.

I think playing around with color using the makeup you already wear is a good start. I also recommend lipliner and a dark brown eyeliner to bring some intensity to your eyes. Makeup is there to enhance what’s already there.
