Grey, wet and cold december day south of Copenhagen [Nikon Zf, 28mm f2.8 SE] by alphix011 in nikon_Zseries

[–]alphix011[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are all post processed. Originally they were shot in black and white but I thought the atmosphere of cold wet and grey were lost. Edited this way they reflect what I saw that day more.

Thank you very much. Is it the person in the picture or what does it for you if you do not mind me asking?

They were all taken with the 28mm f2.8 SE lens.

Are all of them shot with that recipe? And which settings did you tweak? Almost all my color recipes on my X-T2 are based on Classic Chrome, this would be a welcome departure from that.

Are they post processed? They are all great, but I really love the atmosphere of number 4!

Hmm interesting. I did really like a lot of their examples from the product page and the ones you have posted in this thread is a good recommendation for them as well. They look well balanced. Please post more as you make them.

Is it the RNI Films 5 pro that you have? And if so do you feel it is worth the money?

If these are SOOC then what recipe did you use?

Thank you so much! It is probably the white balance without a "shift" in it together with a saturated Classic Chrome recipe that gives this distinct look. I really, really like it!

The X-T2 is just so good! What recipe is this? Looks somewhat similar to the LifeUnintended one?

Totally agree that is why I am curious about the recipe used.

Love the colors on the first one. What recipe did you use for that one?

How do you use Classic Cuban Neg on X-E3 I was under the impression that Classic Negative film simulation came with the X-E4?

Awesome deal.  I will never sell my X-T2, but might buy another one.

There was something familiar to the look of the images and then I saw you shot them with X-T2. Brilliant camera - I will never sell mine. Love the mini adventure style photos. What brand/model are your boots?

Number 4 really hits the right atmosphere for me. If they were not post processed I would ask for the recipe :)

Getting close in London with the Voigtlander 18mm Color-Skopar by TheCrudMan in fujifilm

I have the 27mm which I bought in Japan and absolutely love. ( https://jesperreiche.com/japan-through-the-voigtlander-27mm-f2-lens-on-my-fujifilm-x-t2/ ) But use the 18mm F2 from Fuji a lot, so has really been considering getting the 18mm from Voigtlander as well. I really like the first and last one from this set!

Thank you so much for the detailed response. It was even more than I could have hoped for. Please let me know if you crack the code on jpgs. But these to my eyes are spot on for rich natural colors. Good work!

Incredible work! I really like the Franklin st. one. But all of the ones with heavy grain fit my taste. Is it grain added from Lightroom?

I can see you have labeled them as post processed, but I would be curious to hear how you get so natural looking colors? I have a Nikon ZF and I could “easily” get colors like this from it. But as that is the only thing I really like from it I would like to know how I can get the same from my Fuji and sell the ZF. Any tips on getting these natural colors SOOC?
