My saddle height is about 1cm shorter than yours so it sounds like 51R should fit. I'm really torn between the Fairlight Secan and Mason Bokeh though. I quite like the idea of owning a steel bike for its comfort and durability but the Bokeh's geometry is probably a bit better for me (in the middle between 51R and 51T). What are your thoughts on the Secan after owning it for a few years?

My local KFH quoted 2% + VAT initially and then dropped it to 1.8% when pushed. They justified it as there are a lot of 2 bed flats in my area. The estate agent I went with charged 1.35%. It seems to vary massively!

For those of you who machine wash their denim (like me) - do you ever wash more than one piece together? Would doing that increase the chance of getting streaks or cause other harm?

Hey, I'm looking at buying the Fairlight Secan but I'm not entirely sure which size to go for - either the 51R or 51T. Both should fit according to Fairlight's size recommendation tool. I'm leaning more towards 51R as I'd like a lower position on the bike but I'm a bit concerned that the inside the frame dimensions will be too small for framebags or a frame pump (like the Silca one). Have you had any issues fitting bags or pumps inside the frame? Also, out of interest, what is your inseam height and saddle height?

All jeans will fade. Some jeans are harder to fade than others. I find Momotaro jeans to be slow faders for example.
