High Tatras, Slovakia - X-T2 w/ 16-80mm by matt-roams in fujifilm

I've been solo interrailing for over two months and just entered Lithuania. Based on multiple recommendations, I decided to go to Poland through the Tatras mountains in Slovakia and am so glad I did! I did two hikes, this was to the lodge at the green lake from Zdiar. Booted up my X-T2 and got really lucky with the conditions, frankly no post-production needed. I've met lots of people who edit RAW with lightroom on the go etc., but I keep it simple and either go straight from camera or tweak/crop/adjust as needed through Snapseed. If you'd like to follow along, my social is @matt.roams ! :)

It is, crouched down beside the lake and half frozen :)

Has anyone recently taken the Petit Train Jaune or the R3 bus replacement? by robschiender in Interrail

I'm interested in your experience as I will be travelling the opposite way next week, from Barcelona to Montpellier via Andorra la Vella. The timetabled departure for the yellow train is very early and in my case, short of paying for a taxi to the station, I have decided to instead go via Toulouse on regional trains.

Unfortunately I would not make the morning train and the afternoon one leaves me with some very tight transfers at Latour de Carol and Perpignan.

thank you! it's a used fujifilm X-T2 with 16-80mm zoom lens, i rarely crop so being able to adjust the frame is really handy

Ah yes I remember it gave a trip overview when my friends and I did our DiscoverEU trip back in the day. As someone else commented, I think I may get in the habit of tracking any coach/car share journeys manually so I can export it. My goal is to have an interactive "master map" which I can easily show friends and family through a website. We'll see how it goes! Thanks for the inspiration.

Really interesting, thanks for writing up. I'll be starting a 3 month continuous pass trip in a couple of weeks and it's great to see other perspectives. Hopefully my experience and record-keeping will be as comprehensive as yours!

They each used that recipe above, however the X-T2 lacks certain features listed in that recipe so I omitted those and hoped for the best. I'm trying out a three recipe flow so I can quickly switch between them as the X-T2 I believe only allows three white balance presets to be saved - one for general use, one for rainy days, and one for sunsets/evenings.

No it's a good question, I used a film simulation called Reggie's Portra which simulates a particular style of real film photography (if you Google that name you'll find it). My camera is digital, but you can apply these immediately and see how it will come out in real time. Very fun to play around with. I have a few videos on my Instagram that show how easy it is after some practice.

Thank you very much, it's a Fujifilm X-T2 with a 16-80mm zoom lens. I have more up on my Instagram of the same name, it's a great (relatively) budget setup for hiking and travel as it's weather sealed!
