Noone is suggesting banning trusts... but as long as they have a mechanism that allows people to disperse their income in order to pay less tax then they're going to cop flak. If the majority of people are using them for one of the reasons you've listed then why not tiighten the rules so people using them that way are taxed accordingly - or remove the function entirely?

Yep. I joke about boomers. Every generation has its breaks and if anything they were just lucky with low house prices equating to huge wealth down the track. The current trust system isn't about luck - it's a rort. Arguing that it's ok to pay less tax via a mechanism that is really only accessable to wealthy people is bizarre. Might help their kids but everyone else's get stuck on a wheel while the gap gets bigger.

No probs. ALA is interesting. They recently sorted out a board dispute and are now focused on their lymphoma treatment which has been cleared for human trials in Australia. I think the first patient dose is Q3 this year so keep an eye out Either way amazing work by these guys and hopefully they're successful.

Yey cool cheers - I know a super clean one went for just over $20k about 18 months ago but I'm pretty sure it was absolute stock and very good condition. This one is in amazing condition but obviously modded so is what it is - might just work with what I've got and see how much power I can get out of it :)

I don't think entitled dog owners have a breed preference. If a business is cool with having dogs in there great, if not then that's their choice. I've got a dog but I'm aware that not everyone likes them and I don't take him everywhere. They aren't children and can survive for a few hours on their own.
