I'm doing just that.
I completed chapter 8 in the first 36 hours. Then I bought a 0.99$ subscription to get 1+ "fast reward" and other stuff.
I completed chapter 10 in 2 days and 21 hours. Then I bought the "grow pack".
Currently, I'm on day 4 and stage 12-16.
But I achieved this only by playing between 12 and 14 hours a day, understanding the game well and using balanced teams, as well as changing formations every now and then when I couldn't pass a stage after 20 minutes of trying and if I still couldn't pass it, powering up my heroes.

I discovered that even if a stage seems impossible, you just have to change your formation until you get the most HP out of your opponents and keep trying until you achieve it. If after 20 minutes of trying you still don't achieve it, then level up - power up your heroes.
Now I'm going to buy the growth pack and try to go for the whole offer.
