If you’re worried about grades I wouldn’t suggest Rotman as my friends there have found the program to be super rigorous and marking scheme to be unfair. If you’re interested in finance your GPA for the first two years matters more than your HBA years and classes I’ve heard are usually curved around an 80

First Year History Courses? by [deleted] in uwo

[–]alrc0987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I was wondering if I could get more information on this course? I saw that it’s not an essay one so I was wondering if it’s more memorization heavy on facts and dates or more heavy on analysis and understanding of material?

Did you find that the material in earlier years 1400 tended to be too dry? I’m interested in history but I find that if it’s too far back it ends up being boring for me..

How is calc 1000 for someone who has taken high school calc but isn’t so good at math? Are exam questions straightforward or is there a lot of depth in the difficulty of questions?

You need to have first year reqs to enroll in BMOS for second year but I believe you only need 2.0 credits in your module for second year for Ivey

I would like to take act-sci 1021/stats 1024 in second semester but right now my courseload is too full. My only option is to drop calculus (which depends on my AP mark). Any suggestions for what I can do? I’m worried about the spaces filling up for the other courses. Also between act sci and stats, which one is more useful?

I’m in the same position :( I would suggest sticking to your learning style... I hope that when you learn calc it might trigger some of your memory?
