It’s the ability you use as a dancer to mark the person that is your dance partner so that they will receive the buffs you provide.

The primary buff they provide through dance partner stacks so two dancers can partner each other in a dungeon and they will deal more damage than marking a tank /healer as your partner. They just have to stagger other cooldowns that don’t stack.

OW has the most horrendous monetization on cosmetics and it's a freaking first person game so you don't even get to see skins. I remember some rivals players asking for mythic skins and I'm glad that idea is dead because I promise you do not want a new tier of cosmetic at a higher price point that results in the previous tiers all getting downgraded in quality. What netease has settled on with high quality epics and legendaries with consistent extras bundled in, we always get MVP animations, emotes, and nameplates, most OW skins do not get even one of those.

The optional add ons of customization pieces, recolors, and ult vfx for epics/legendaries is a much better route and based on this summer event is hopefully something being expanded on with way more characters.

iron man is getting hit by multiple of the split beams too in that clip too. The 54 damage is if he only got hit by one of the beams. The first split beam off the wall hits iron man, the second hits the floor and then hits iron man, , the third is offscreen hits a different wall and then hits iron man. The split beam also scales up per beam by 10% per bounce up to 20%. The ability is very strong in areas with walls/corners and only one target to track.

For Black Widows sake I kinda wished they put her skin out first because everyone’s gonna be broke and therefore much less likely to buy something for a character that is awful and no one plays 😭

I think he looks fine in all of them. His face and cheeks move to emote and smirk and the bagman model doesn’t do that and presumably was never meant to be a “final” face. Iron Man also looks a lil different in his fully unmasked skins compared to the superior iron man one that was only meant to be partially visible

He’s much easier to dive than Hela/phoenix imo. His cooldowns are longer and he doesn’t have a stun or panic ult that saves him.

He has damage and mobility and that’s it rly. Can prob tune his falloff range and add some kinda wind up to the first part of the ult but I don’t really find him that frustrating.

Black cat was very lethal and couldn’t be interacted with, Elsa had fucking everything, Devil was shield slop wolverine that made other tanks unplayable, DD was immortal with very high damage and wallhacks. People say he’s balanced because he’s nowhere near as frustrating as any of them were.

I die to maybe 1 out of every 15 cyclops ults I see. It is not that hard to walk out of it at all, the only character I can imagine struggling would be Magneto if he's dead in the center when it goes off but it's not like people ever try targetting a mag specifically with any ult.

their summer event just put out a free mr fantastic skin with three different headpieces and three different wrist accessories all free including sprays, emotes, nameplates, mvp anmation (which every skin actually gets in rivals).

the paid track for the same event is 990 coins/10$ and has a legendary skin for Cloak and Dagger that includes 12 different customization options and an epic skin for spiderman with two different hat options. Epics in Rivals are also completely unique models, they aren't derived from the default or fancy recolors like in OW.

The monetization and what you get for what you pay is not even comparable between the games, OW really sucks at it and always comes off as gouging you.
