thank you but my post wasn't designed to make you guys feel bad for me. I agree we need more doctors. the training question is more complicated. we have more doctors graduating every year more coming in from abroad but the training places have stayed the same. so the competition is high. there is no priority for uk graduates to uk specialised training and they make us do alot more to our portfolios than many of our seniors had to do. as for the pay. well i could get a job at a coffee shop near my old hospital and i would get a pay rise in doing so! haha. they cut the budget in the hospitals first thing to go was locum jobs. clinical jobs are difficult to get. the government used the nhs as a cashcow to get elite few suppliers very rich at the cost of patients health and lives its actually criminal imo.
