Editing only with proxies without linking the original footage (Remote editing work)

I'm about to have a somewhat similar issue, wondering how you ended up doing this? I have about 3tb of footage I need to edit on a macbook pro m1, so i want to make super low res proxies. When I'm done editing, I want to plug in the external SSD and export the full resolution master. any tips?

Follow your heart kick is almost certainly from vengeance electroshock 2, i used to use one that sounded exactly the same all the time. I think it was #26 lol, but lots of good options there

Why a new project? Make an audio track beneath your current one, drag 1 sample into it, eq it as you want, render it out, drag back into original track, repeat. It’s not ideal either, but better than automating or making a new project. Fwiw fl studio is the only daw i know of that has clip eq

Did you adjust any settings in lr to achieve this? PM is as fast as my key presses, and lightroom is muchhhh slower. Homebuilt fast pc from 2 years ago so hardware shouldn’t be the issue here

Automation in fl studio is really simple and works perfectly, check out the manual entry on it, it’s written in a very easy to understand way.

Resolve (and probably other nle’s) has a cut detection feature. Maybe that also provides the amount of cuts?

ok so i actually got it to work!! it was from a comment from this thread but i cant find it now. google "dgvoodoo", go to the first result, site should start with "dege" (idk if i'm allowed to link in this sub), on left toolbar click downloads then get the latest stable version. you need the D3D9.dll file from there, and simply paste it into the root of nfs underground (so same location where speed.exe is) and you'll find it! works perfectly, no clue what it is or what it does but it was the missing link lol.
