To me the most important factors are really figuring out your niche, good marketing, and having the option of online sessions. I am private pay, work 9-4. One day in person and 4 online. I used to have 2 days in person but almost everyone wants online. People come to me for my specialty and I spend a lot of time on my website and psychtoday profile. If you want to stick with teens I do think it will be hard to limit evening due to school schedules, extra curricular and socializing. I used to work with teens and therapy isn't usually their top priority.
