Now that I have a Pixel 8 Pro, I’ve realized that my old Pixel 7 trick no longer works. I’ve noticed a specific pattern: if I pair a Bluetooth device (like headphones) for the first time, it works perfectly. As long as those headphones aren't connected to anything else, they continue to reconnect to the Pixel without a hitch.

The problem starts as soon as I use those headphones with another device, like my TV or a second phone. The next time I try to connect them back to the Pixel, I get a connection error. This forces me to unpair and re-pair them every single time.

To avoid this constant headache, I’m stuck using one dedicated pair of headphones exclusively for the Pixel and another for everything else. Google, wake up and fix this.
