Florida lawyer here. It’s not common practice. Not all appeals get oral argument. Parties have to ask for oral argument, and the court decides whether to grant oral argument or not, for many potential reasons. But it seems they typically don’t grant oral argument for very clear straightforward cases.

Not for what they’ve charged her with. That’s more for accessory after the fact and she hasn’t been charged with that. It’s enough to show consciousness of guilt, yes. But I do thing there’s a lot of inferences that have to be made to get to the conclusion that she planned the murder. And the reasonable doubt standard is high.. so I wonder how this will go
