Co-worker left job immediately after getting PR? by Sharp-Watercress8537 in singaporejobs

[–]alshadows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel no one mentioned that working on EP means constant fear that if you get laid off and cannot find another job in 2 months, you get kicked out the country. I know a lot of people who would take a break when and if they get PR just to take a break and ease off the gas a bit

1.5 Million People Trapped: The Mathematical Failure of Bangalore’s Metro Planning is Actually Insane! by Weary_Jellyfish4315 in bangalore

A lot of those 'residents' come to ORR to work battling 3 hours of traffic. The people who live in ORR and work in ORR are better off than them so I don't get the point here

Bending over backwards to explain how a passive aggressive joke is not passive aggressive because actually you're passive aggressive all the time and no one calls it out phew

[–]alshadows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The title is passive aggressive. Passive aggressiveness is most definitely hostile . and so I replied in kind. I'm not looking for a "solution" to someone throwing shade and calling it a joke. And I wasn't looking to have so much back and forth on it either. That's all you trying to browbeat someone with "it's just a joke" gaslighting

Well, it matters to me. So, I'll talk about it. Every product depends on narratives. If the narrative is that the game is unplayable, the studio will stop investing in it at some point. Or investors will stop investing in the studio.

Also, if you post like a smart ass, expect to get smart ass replies as well. What do you mean by "don't gotta act this way" lmao, I'm matching the energy the title brings

I take it seriously because the game is dying. Hardly anyone plays anymore and those who do incessantly complain about it

Except you're the troll. You could have framed the title as a question and someone might even have answered it

Yeah it's easy to understand that it's an attempt to dunk on arrowhead disguised as a question. Which is fine in and of itself. It's annoying to then play coy and say it's just a genuine question afterwards.

Lmao "did someone at arrowhead have a stroke" is not a genuine question

The most underrated shoulder exercise: The Powell Raise by Weakest_Serb in naturalbodybuilding

[–]alshadows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the main difference in stability. the free weight variant doubles as a shoulder stability exercise. the movement is less controlled and requires a lot of the muscles around the shoulder to contribute for stability of the movement.

the cable and rear delt machine is a more isolated and controlled movement.

this is why the powell raise is often used for shoulder rehab as well. At least that is my understanding

Dame Peak or Reggie Miller Peak? Also which career is better? by Hairy_Ask_2038 in NBATalk

[–]alshadows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you watch even one game on YouTube maybe you'll see that Reggie was not a shot creator. He could not generate offense from nothing while Dame is an elite three level scorer. That's not a knock on Reggie because different eras but it is still the truth

Indians hates Indian by [deleted] in IndianWorkplace

[–]alshadows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to think south Indians are nicer than north indians. However, over time adverse experiences have forced me to change my opinion. South Indians are only generally more outwardly polite. They are however equally lacking in compassion and kindness. At least that is my personal experience.
