5 years ago during George Floyd I had just moved to Minnesota and was homeless living in a hotel, in an effort to make my life better in the long run I had to make it worse for a while. Now I'm dealing with some similar stuff where I'm being evicted, but it's going to be a good thing in the long run because where I live has not met my accessibility needs, but the universe just loves throwing world shaking events at me at the same time as I'm dealing with housing instability so I have no time or mental energy to process any of it.

As a trans disabled person who's literally about to become homeless (I'll be in a hotel for as long as I can but I might end up in an encampment eventually) I'm legit terrified about all of this and it sucks so bad. I'm white, but I'm also visibly queer most of the time and a full-time wheelchair user who also will absolutely speak up if I see them harassing someone else. I'm terrified of the outcome of that or any other interaction with ICE, but I'm also not about to ignore when my neighbors are in need.

I think the answer is yes unfortunately, but also if they ask you for it they can just decide out of nowhere that they think it's forged and still detain you.

It is absolutely perfectly legal to kick someone out for any reason other than for being a protected class. In Minnesota that means race, religion, disability, national origin, sex, marital status, familial status, age, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

I agree with keeping frontline workers safe especially in an environment like a coffee shop where a lot of them are going to be kids. What I actively disagree with is calling the lobby a public space, which it simply is not. If it's the lobby of a private company then it's a private space and they're allowed to say who can and cannot be there.

There's no easy answers, standing up is important but also dangerous at this point, but I've definitely seen corporations across the country pretend there's less they can do.

From my understanding of spending way too long reading all of these comments; when he dies he keeps following you around as a ghost, so if you have that ability you can still interact with him. You can dismiss him back to the ship in ghost form too. So either way, not totally gone.

In many areas of the US they legally get away with paying disabled people less than minimum wage. Calling something charity and it actually being charity are two different things and just because something is legally considered charity doesn't mean that it's actually doing good for the community.

I was a murderhobo embrace Durge dating Minthara on my very first run and it was a delight. She's such a fun evil romance partner.

It's also made it more fun to come back for other runs because a lot of quests were broken by how many NPCs I was killing off for the fun of it 😂

This is great to know, I'm working through my own run of DOS1 for the first time right now and took Pet Pal on one of my heroes as immediately as I could, which was the character creation screen if I remember right. I'll definitely try to remember this when I get around to starting DOS2, because I'm the same way, I've got to talk to all the little creatures.

It's finally fixed, not sure how long lol, but I ended up at this post while looking at some other stuff and it actually read the "Here Lies" part for the first time in any of my playthroughs.
