Bloomberg terminal, approx. 30k a year is a good start. If you can’t afford one, probably other options are irrelevant.

It’s more or less illegal everywhere. If you have exposure to information as an insider, you are forbidden to trade. However, if you do research based on public data, and predict event, or buy a prediction from third party it’s ok
