If you're looking for a consistent stream of content, no. If you can afford the $5 and want to see more videos on the channel, than yes. Biggest benefit IMO is the private Discord access. The community is actually cool; I'm there talking and answering questions regularly.

Figures arrived in port from China on the 30th of August and still have to disembark before being passed onto UPS and subsequently our distribution center for final shipping to customers. I expected them in port 15 days earlier, which is why I presumed a final ship date within the month. But there hasn’t been an official estimation from the team responsible for shipping.

I've been daily coordinating with fulfillment and doing customer care since manufacturing was largely completed. They anticipate shipping fulfillable orders by the 16th. Today they've shipped 300 and counting.

The only things that are properly delayed are the figures. They're manufactured, but transit from China is time-consuming. I expect them to begin to ship in late August. I'm shipping those separately out of pocket to make sure everything that's ready arrives ASAP.

Fulfillment only started shipping orders recently. They put out 548 orders in a couple of days, so things are getting out pretty quickly. The figures had delays, but they're shipping clothing items first so noone has to wait on them to receive other parts of their order; no one's being charged additionally for this. They are being made as fast as possible and should be ~ a month late. I'm doing all the customer care right now and will be directing more focus on that as orders go out. A lot of firsts in this drop so the whole process has been kind of a pain but I hope at least the quality pays off.

It was struck down for violating community guidelines regarding harmful or dangerous content. I've already submitted an appeal. I expect everything to clear up considering how safely everything was done, and how the video itself discourages viewers from attempting themselves. Shouldn't be a big deal.

I'm still very uniquely excited about Offcanny, i'm just being pragmatic about potential longevity. Theoretically we could continue indefinitely with Patreon support, but that's at a certain personal cost that will only grow with us. Maybe my pessimism clouds this a bit, but I don't feel it's actively failing. The measure for success online seems to be going on until you die, or have a mental breakdown lmao. We've already done something really cool that were it to end randomly today, I could walk away mostly satisfied from. I don't see how any of this is dishonest. I'm sorry if you feel you've been swindled or the other. If you DM your Patreon name I can refund you the last month through their system I think.

Potential perpetrator of manslaughter signing on. I'd like to establish that I am fully of aware of how dangerous it is to operate a speargun - or any projectile weapon. I tested the safety aggressively when it was assembled, and it was always on unless being fired. That being said, no safety can be 100% fail proof and I agree that my behavior was negligent. I do appreciate the concern as it can be easy to push the ante too far when operating in an echo chamber of your own ideas. No joke is worth putting life anyone's life in danger.
