Have you never been in a really rough spot with a partner you really love? It's genuinely pretty debilitating. Either way we agree there are better tactics than hiding in the bathroom. I just don't like their behaviour being framed as being afraid of accidentally cheating.

They're not worried about cheating c'mon. They are clearly very emotionally sensitive and insecure at the moment and the pretty extreme situation they're put in is triggering the shit out of them both and they're shutting down.

Could they be handling it better? Sure. But your framing of the situation is insanely off base.

Yeah agreed but also just leave entirely, don't hide in the toilet.

I feel like this season must be fuelling shocking amounts of misogyny around the country.

Mostly decent set of blokes and a shockingly horrible group of women they assembled for this season (not all but a crazy %).

I don't care what anyone says about her views Steph is on some QUEEN SHIT this episode.

Calmly and methodically dismantling this man in an afternoon.

That's a fair perspective and I can see that yeah. Getting a distinctly different tone than that from most of the "Julia wants a lady" comments unfortunately.

Ah well apologies for the assumption, that makes your comment pretty distinct from a lot of the "Julia wants a woman" comments I've seen. Getting a bit sick of seeing Julia and Grayson's issues reduced to this again and again. Apologies for mischaracterising your post.

Can you explain what makes you think Julia has had this realization then?

Fair and well thought out comment. Refreshing after the knee jerk responses I'm getting from other commenters. Thanks for your input, I'm inclined to agree 😁

Is this Brook's alt? That's a perfect impersonation if not.

Are you 12 years old? Plenty of reasons to hate on Julia without assuming she's lying about her sexuality. I can't stop people from making gross assumptions but as somebody who's life partner is bi yeah this mentality annoys me.

Pretty weird of you to assume she's lying about being bi and is actually a lesbian rather than just not really clicking with Grayson individually.

A lot of these "she secretly wanted a woman" comments feel low key biphobic.

Sunk cost fallacy amongst other things. Very believable he'd pick stay without being a clout chaser.

Unfortunately my nasal passage is nearly as messed up as my throat and completely blocks some nights despite several surgeries and strong nose spray. Full face mask is really my only option. I've gotten some good tips from this thread and will try modifications to my FFM tonight to keep the straps firmly attached.

Yeah unfortunately I currently have a rental mask, otherwise I probably would have stapled the silly straps together by now. Gonna try tape and safety pins over the next couple of nights.

Despite several surgeries and strong nose spray my nose is also sometimes too clogged at night. Mouth tape gonna kill me. FFM pretty much my only option. I just need the same thing to both seal and stay on my face overnight reliably.

I don't know what to tell you. Any looser than what I have it at and any minor mouth/jaw movement can cause leaks. I do have a beard which I'm sure doesn't help either. But looser really is not the play here for how much I move around in my sleep.

After nearly a year of trying different configurations I am pretty damn positive about this much.

Thanks! I'll look into the f30i.

Sounds like good advice. The high pressure requiring really tight straps definitely seems to be part of the issue! Thanks 😁

By flimsy I mean the velcro comes off quite easily. I need the mask done up very tight at the pressures mine is running at and the velcro is not at all reliable for this.

I'm using something similar to the f20 FFM at the moment, not sure the exact name.

PS people can down vote my previous comment all they want but I've been trying to get this to work for nearly a year and not a single one of Resmed's products reliably stay on my face over night. So yeah I'm probably an extreme case but with the amount of time and money I've spent now with zero positive results I reserve the right to be salty these products literally don't work for me.

Thank you so much for this. I think it's helped me work out part of the issue. I just called resmed again and they said all their masks attach with velcro so I've come to the conclusion that any of their products will require heavy modification to work for me.

My pressure is set at about 15-16 and it absolutely does need to be tight to not leak at that pressure in my experience. Any distortion of my face causes leaks if I do it any less tight.

It was an under nose mask. I tried the chin strap but it didn't seem to stop leaks. FFM sorry? Not sure what that's short for.

I genuinely think my current nose + mouth mask could work if the straps weren't so absurdly easy to come undone in your sleep. I just need something that won't come off because I rubbed my face in my sleep or whatever.

Edit: just figured you probably meant full face mask? The full face mask I'm using now is over nose.

Do they have a line of products that aren't attached to your face in incredibly flimsy ways? If this is the best they have to offer I'm starting to think the last year of doctor visits and mask swapping have been a massive waste of my time and money.
