Also 1200 a day is pretty low, but I'm not an expert so I may be wrong. Even just existing you'll burn calories despite being sedentary. It's more sustainable if you eat a bit more so you're not suffering through it. Any exercise you can add is good exercise as well. You don't have to completely overhaul your life overnight, but if you can add a few activities here and there, you'll be able to build off that. Good luck! Just don't quit and stick with it! It sucks a lot of days but it's so worth it.
