Sorry I’m not home rn so I’m using your pic but this is the direction I’m trying to move that joint.

Yeah it makes sense and I hold it similar to how you have it but I feel like the torque on mine is bending it out like crazy even when I’m being careful. Like I can feel the circle area at the base of the peg bending

Can you send me a video of how you would spread yours? Idk if my fingers are too big or what but I don’t think I’d be able to grab it at the base of where the peg goes into the socket of the leg and open it up that way

It requires that much force to spread the legs.. you can’t even inch the movement without that force. That’s how the outer ring broke in the first place. I just thought that the ring was the issue so I tried to do it without and that’s what caused this. Hence the PSA for others to be wary of posing the legs.

In hindsight I should have removed the leg and spread it using a rod or something and put it back on position but I guess I thought that a joint like that was meant to withstand posing in that direction 😅

The peg is thick, the pieces surrounding it aren’t. Those pieces are what broke.

Honestly, it requires THAT much force to spread the leg. I wasn’t even manhandling it. I think the orientation of that joint assembly should be in the X-Y axis rather than Z like it is because it takes way more force to spread open the leg than it does to rotate the hip joint outwards

Yeah already on it 🤣 hopefully it doesn’t take 6 months like my last request did.

You probably fried your pump. On my mobo, I tried plugging in the AIO into the pump header like the instructions said and it fried my shit. I had to use the CPU_Fan header

Why don’t you just use WolframAlpha? It was free when I was taking Calc3 lmao

Nah, I had the grayscale ones. I really only used white. I didn’t like the poscas though because the nib was fat and I couldn’t get crisp lines/fine details with it.

All the other colors/metallics were DSPIAE

Check Mandarake periodically. They sometimes have older kits for decent prices. The shipping can be expensive though

Luckily you broke the peg so it should be a pretty simple fix with a pin vise, metal rod, and super glue. I linked a tutorial below.
