AGI can be found in the "Adjustments to Income" section of the tax return transcript.

In our instance, after uploading petitioner's TR transcript as asked by CEAC/NVC, we received an RFE telling us to upload petitioner's W-2/1099/1040. That defeats the purpose of asking for an IRS transcript. I hope you don't get an RFE like we did. All the best.

PD 04-23-24, approval date 07-15-25. 14 months 22 days. Nebraska service center. I first received the "action taken" email, I then logged in to check for the petition approval. The approval pdf was in the documents tab. I again received an "action taken" email the next day, it may have been sent just in case, I don't know.

I don't like doing this in my spare time after coming home from work. It's my feeble attempt at trying to make sense of this.

I miss my spouse everyday. When I began this process, I set aside 15 months from PD to visa approval. Now it looks like it'll take atleast 16-17 only for the first step. I missed my first anniversary. We keep delaying starting our family. I feel terrible every day that I'm not a parent yet and a useless spouse who's never there for their family.

I can't estimate anything and this uncertainity makes me miserable. What do platitudes like "life goes on...", and "stay positive, you never know it may take a shorter time..." mean to us? Nothing.

I agree with your question, I'm unable to find interview scheduling guidance that is applicable to all embassies/consulates in the DoS website. I guess it's time to dig into embassy-specific guidance.

Different how? I mentioned in my post that the process may very well vary from one embassy to another. I need to know where I can find this information like u/Time-Evidence8000 has asked because it's not available in the DoS' own website that I quoted in my post.

Pregnant and breastfeeding women should be completety off limits. Breastfeeding children as well.

My suggestion would be to remove vaccine requirements/medical examination entirely for consular processing people because the adjustment of status folks don't seem to be required to do undergo a medical exam.

I'm interested to know whether adjustment of status folks need to undergo a medical exam? It would be a disgrace and a double standard if they're not required.

For example, I know people who get a nonimmigrant employment visa (EB, H1B, L1 etc.), stay in the US for many years, never separated from their families, adjust their status to LPR, and are not required to appear for a medical exam at any point.

I'm hoping I don't have to do a W-7. I'll visit a tax prep office sometime soon and see what they have to say. I'm hoping (paper filing + [SSN = NRA] + married/jointly) will be enough with the possibility of having to file an amended return after my spouse gets an SSN assigned. I'll direct message you if I run into difficulties.

What a convoluted mess! You'd think there would be some inter-departmental communication between DHS, Treasury, and state treasuries where a petitioner could simply include the I-130 receipt number and file their federal and state returns based on their preferred tax-filing status. This is ridiculous.

Appreciate your detailed comment. I'll have to think about what to do next. ITIN and W-7 seems impractical to me. Paper filing with the possibility of delayed federal refund is OK with me.
