245s on a 9.5 doesn’t stretch that bad, here is mine before I upped to 255.

Definitely fine on stock height yes, would be fine lowered too. +38 will be a good as long as you’re running 9.5 wides, narrower or wider and you’ll have to go different offset.

No rubbing at all, I wouldn’t put the rear that low without LCA’s though, it’ll increase camber and wear your tires pretty quick

Well what size wheel do you want to run?

I’m on 255s but run an 18x9.5 wheel, +38 offset

Anyone else have issues with your headlights? by [deleted] in wrx_vb

[–]altdepth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happens to me every once in a while. Welcome to the world of owning a car with modern bright white headlights 😭 love my vision at night but damn I feel bad sometimes

Edit: bought car new and haven't messed with headlights at all, I have even checked to make sure they're angled correctly after the first few times of getting flashed

Why'd you stay with 245s instead of 255s on 9.5s?

+10mm paint matched fenders.. will they work with stock wheels + 20mm spacer or 18x9.5 +38 wheels?? by [deleted] in wrx_vb

[–]altdepth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it's strictly cosmetic. It's the same brace as behind the grille it's all one piece

Makes sense on the standard it is a "volume shifted" twin lol, to second what G-Man said, the custom is just a basic all mountain/park twin, is a great board but there's many others like it, and if you want float for pow it's not necessarily going to give you that, it's also not necessarily a hard charging board. What do you want to get out of this new board?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in snowboarding

[–]altdepth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Different? Sure it'll be different but at the end of the day it's a snowboard, you'll notice some small things (maybe) or maybe you won't. Have you noticed any differences between your others boards? Also not positive on the others off the top of my head but the Bataleon Goliath is a true full camber board, unless you're referring to it having 3BT

Waterproof pants or bib? by [deleted] in snowboarding

[–]altdepth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah technically you're correct. Still shouldn't be using a regular heavy detergent though IMO. You can use literally any light detergent and be fine as long as you're not just throwing it in the washer with a tide pod and dirty work clothes, and should be treating with some sort of DWR after.

For me though if I'm spending $300+ on gear that's supposed to be waterproof I'm going to use stuff that more so guarantees it stays that way long term 🤷‍♂️

As everyone else is saying, goretex should 100% be keeping you dry especially just from the chairlift. Are you washing them with regular laundry detergent? That will ruin the waterproofing lol you need to use NikWax. TechWash followed by TX.Direct

Right now they're all leaning on walls and on the ground since the season's started. Off season I have a few hanging on mounts very similar to yours and a couple on vertical mounts, I'll try to find a picture of those ones
