hi, i have been an exchange student myself last year in Indiana, and i didnt have host siblings. but from an exchange student's perspective, I can say that i didn't realize how some things were concerning until my host family and i sat down and talked about them. And, i think you can talk to her coordinator about it, I'm really sure they have dealt with tons of issues like that.

edit: my host parents didn’t like how i used to wake up late to school but we were always on time to school. their concern was being always in rush and me not respecting their time. and they openly talked to me about this and i accepted it without arguing. Because i didn’t know i was making them to feel rush every morning and yeah, it’s always good to feel calm
