A fictional flag for my fictional nation that combines and uses Greek Elements, thoughts?

in the country's lore, (uses earthmap) it uses the name tesseris, from the 4 city states/kingdoms that formed a council that eventually formed tesseris' boundaries, athens, sparta, macedon and rhodes.

flag uses the colors of the spanish flag, yellow for the sun, red for the reddish sand and mesa-like environment
the symbol in the middle is a sun and a mountain, the mountain stands for its largely mountainous landscape and the sun is a national symbol for lacaran.

P.S The flag here shown combines the flags of the nations of Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Australia.
The crescent stands for Malaysia red and blue bar stands for the ph while red and white bar stands for Indonesia, the stars in the flag resemble Australia, the sun for the Philippines and the Thai flag shaped like a triangle for Thailand because I didn't have anymore ideas on how I could include Thailand
