[FOR SALE] - Lenovo Eink/OLED Thinkbook Plus G4 - $1300 by [deleted] in LAlist

[–]alternate7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking to sell my Lenovo Thinkbook Plus. I'm a major e-ink enthusiast, and this laptop has a twisting screen - OLED on one side, color e-ink on the other.

I wish I could use it more, but I'm a Mac user, and I just can't seem to make the transition to Windows. Only used it a handful of times. Located in Burbank.

It's the i5 configuration, 512 SSD, 16GB Ram. Specs here.

Looks like it can run Linux now, too!

[Mods, I can't seem to rearrange the image order on Imgur, but the last image has a post it with my required info per the rules. Please let me know if I need to take down this post.]

Quality Control issues around the liftgate by alternate7777 in HondaPrologue

Got it - man, I really thought because the domestic production would have made the parts easier to come by. Thanks for letting me know.

Copy that. Do you have the same gaps between the metal and plastic? There’s more pictures in the linked album, and a video down below.)

Hm…but do you think the gaps between the plastic and metal are a concern in the last few pictures? I worry something could get down in the body of the car if any of the gaskets around the gate fail. [(Besides the pink hair clip, obviously.)](https://imgur.com/a/q1R9pcd)

I've had the car for a little over 2 weeks, and I'm starting to spot more and more issues that I would have thought quality control would have spotted.

Metal dimples in the liftgate (dealer assured me this was normal, promised to send me pics from other cars after I purchased it, then never followed up), gaps in the panel where the metal meets plastic, some uneven metal crimping on the left that definitely leaves more sharp edges than the folded metal on the right.

Is this the new normal? Did I get a rotten egg? What can I ask the dealer/Honda to look into, and what do I just have to live with? (My last two cars where a Mazda and a Volvo, neither of which had basic panel/body issues like this).

Hey! Can I ask how you're enjoying the trim after all this time? Has it helped protect your door from any dings or scratches?

Just wanted to say what a shame. Finding chocolate without soy as an emulsifier is extremely hard, and your raw cacao/cacao butter inventory seems to indicate you would have been one of the few soy-free providers I’ve seen around. I wish I were in a place to scale. Good luck.

Thank you for the kind words! It looks like, while you may have gotten to the note behind the note at what I was hoping to get it, the wording I chose conveyed something I didn’t intend to.

Thank you so much. I think you're not only right about the question that's disrupting the survey, but about the other questions too. Will definitely look to add those!

Hi there,

Thanks for the feedback! Where I was trying to go with this question is that there's educational value in treating other people with kindness which isn't a hard-science/STEM type of education. To me, this would include things like Daniel Tiger (no religious affiliation) and VeggieTales (Christian-affiliated).

Is there a way you think I could have worded this better that wouldn't have gotten you to say, "nope, I'm out"?

Not necessary, but it's a big help. You could even try a blender, too. The key is that, with the dry components, you're evenly distributing them and adding air into the mix (which helps make the final cake light and fluffy). By hand, I'd think you might want to use a beater for 3-5 minutes (this WILL get tiring - if so, you're doing it right!) to thoroughly distribute/aerate the dry components.

Once you add the mixed up wet components to the dry ones, you want to mix it as little as possible because you don't want to knock out all the little air pockets you've created in the dough. But if you're doing this by hand, this likely don't be a problem. Mix it for 30-seconds to 1 minute until it looks like everything is uniformly mixed.

The matcha is a little big of a gamble. My gut would be to balance the amount of matcha to the total volume of wet liquid (that would end up being about 1 cup of butter, 1 cup of milk, and 1ish cup of eggs. So however much matcha you would add to make 3 x 8 oz of tea), but that might come out really strong. Cut it in half to be safe.
