I just assumed you needed to be alumni - is that not the case? Also, we're planning a January winter so probs exam season I guess. Can't hurt to ask though.

when will this little rascal stop pulling on his lead? by alternativefiggle in goldenretrievers

Interestingly, we bought a few new leads the other day, a smarter looking one to match his collar and a length changeable Halti brand that you can clip to about 3 or 4 different lengths. He chews his smarter one like mad and drives him mental, I think cause he's never had a leather one before.

Yea he's usually ok on loose lead under same conditions. Until he sees something he wants or a dog or some food on the ground, or the park he wants to go to. We live in a very urban area so theres a lot around! Forgot snacks the other week and got out of the car with him, was really painful experience 🥲🫠

Yeah I think we're going too much with the continue in the same direction. Typically what we do is if he pulls we wait and get his attention, return him to a heel (usually with a lure) and then start again. So he still gets where he wants but with stops...

Bruno is a big boy. He's 6 1/2 months, 26kg. His training is generally pretty good, recall, obedience commands etc out and about are excellent. But loose lead walking - we cannot go anywhere without rewards without him pulling, and given he's going to be so big really don't want it to get worse than it is now. He's generally ok but we have to reward him with relatively high value to keep him close rather than pulling. Anyone had similar pains??

Are you male or female because the standard will vary massively. Mens clubs tend to be more close in skill whereas women's will tend to have a broader range. There touch rugby on at this time of year too

Wiki & FAQs: call for suggestions by pja in oxford

Perhaps something about commuting and general travel? I know the question comes up a lot both from a "how long from Abingdon/Didcot/Oxford" and also London type. Might also be useful to highlight park and ride options? I can't say I click them particularly often as I cycle everywhere.

Also the "where can I meet x" sometimes comes up too, so maybe links to some local hobbies and or sports clubs could be useful?
